Another great find in West Hartford Downtown. This downtown continues to amaze me.It is a food lovers paradise.
So late on Wednesday eveneing we were debating where to eat and decided to try something new- Bisotto is a place we had always seen in passing and decided to try out this Tex-Mex place.
The ambience is an eye opener- more so because of its high ceilings and huge picture displays.
The server was a delight. she went through the menu and explained all the courses and also recommened some of her favorites. She navigated us through the Appetizers which was a summer blosson quessedilla-
Squash blossoms, roasted green chile, queso Chihuahua, mushrooms and salsa verde cruda and Empanadas de Hongos - filled with wild mushrooms, goat cheese and salsa manzana. I have to admit that by this time I was feeling pretty stuffed already. For the main course I tried Chile Rellenos al Hongos ,Poblano peppers filled with wild mushrooms, baby spinach,goat cheese and pine nuts with salsa ranchera - DELICIOUS!! My friends ordered

By this time I was so stuffed that the server decide to gift me a small male doll- which if placed under my pillow will remove all my worries- what worry would I have after so much food and drink- go figure
