Kinzie Chop House - EXPENSIVE but V GOOD
400 North Wells Street

Very good cuts of steak, excellent service and very good collection of wine. The staff is very friendly. They have an appetizer deal on weekdays from 4 pm to 6 pm - a nice place to enjoy a sit down dinner.

Here are some pictures from our time at Chicago

David Burke's Primehouse - EXPENSIVE but AWESOME
616 North Rush Street
Chicago, IL 60611

This place rocks- starting from the appetizer to the dessert- its style and class. The steak here is dry aged for 28 to 75 days and tastes out of this world. For appetizer I tried their potato pancake served on a stylish silver bowl followed by the best steak and vegetables, my friend tried Lobster scramble with Caviar and Creme in an Ostrich Shell - for dessert I had donuts with three toppings- delish!!

The Signature Room at the 95th - EXPENSIVE and OK

The view is breathtaking!! This place has ok food but the view is amazing.
Here is how the restaurant describes itself and I agree:

Located atop the John Hancock Center, The Signature Room at the 95th® offers diners exquisite food, superb service, and a dazzling skyline view. The elegant wood designs and art deco interior create an inviting and intimate atmosphere, while the floor-to-ceiling windows exhibit the stunning Chicago skyline and 360° degree views of the entire city.

For appetizer I had duck dumplings with green salad ,for main course Roasted Scottish Salmon(did not care much for the salmon- I have had better). For dessert I had Vanilla Bean Crème Brûlée .
